Seeing as how Sarah Jessica Parker’s character & now we, the adoring fans, have been ditched by this amazing dress, I’m gonna say it’s for our own benefit.  I mean seriously who wants that kind of dress karma?

If that doesn’t ease your pain, ladies, looks like it was just one dress they had, size 10.  So chances are you were either too big or too small to fit it anyways!  So relish in the fact that you just saved $10,000 dollars!  That’s almost like making $10,000!  Don’t say I don’t do anything for you!

You may already recognize the style, it is very similar to the Hervé Léger dress worn by Victoria Beckham (sans color) to the Marc Jacobs show back in September of 2007.

Even though it seems like ages ago, I simply adored when Victoria Beckham stepped out in this beautiful Moon Dress from RM by Roland Mouret (in the pink version of course).  She, no doubt, has the bank account to justify it’s hefty price tag, a mere $1612.50 on sale at Net-A-Porter (or $1290 with your 20% winter discount!).

Alas, for those of us in financial woe, I offer up a solution that is chic-onomic!  This Belted Ponte Knit Sheath Dress from ABS by Allen Schwartz, on sale for $113 at Nordstom, offers a similar neckline detail & cap sleeves to the designer version & it will take you from breadline to boardroom for years to come!
