Michelle’s Kors Values

Michelle Obama is featured on the April cover of O Magazine.  The frist lady picks a red Michael Kors dress paired with a yellow cardigan.  It appears to be this Sheath Dress from Kors’ Spring 2009 RTW collection, retailing for $1,895.

Even bigger news is that this is the first time in the publication’s 9 year history where anyone has be allowed to share the cover with the Big O!

The issue hits newsstands March 17.

We all know Michelle Obama is smart, savvy & stylish!  On her recent cover of People Magazine, the first lady poses in lacy pink dress from designer Tracy Reese.

Reese’s name sake line & diffusion line, Plenty by Tracy Reese, are both affordable & start in the low $100. The first lady’s dress goes from $350 - $400 depending where you buy it.

Retailing for $395, you can currently snag this Fuchsia Lace Dress at edressme.com.  Not too bad considering this is a well known designer!

For those of you who believe in a capitalist sense of fashion, this Empire lace dress by Newport News will help you hone Michelle’s fashion for less. At $59, consider it a stimulus purchase for the economy & your wardrobe.  It’s your patriotic duty!

Michelle’s Fashion En’Kors

Michelle Obama.  Doting Mothinger.  Political Wife.  Fashion Icon.  In the midst of balancing her power, love to see her mix up the threads from high end to main stream.  Of course her offical White House photo is no different.  Here the first lady of fashion dons a classic black crepe jersey racer-back gown from Kors’ spring collection.

The dress is not on his offical site, so I am guessing it’s either coming soon or this is a modified version of one of the dresses from the runway collection. Check out Kors’ Little Black Dress section HERE.

First Fashion in Vogue

After months of speculation, we finally get a preview of first lady, Michelle Obama’s US Vogue cover for March!  Believe it or not, this is only the second time in the publication’s history that a first lady has graced the cover … the first being Hillary Clinton.

Shot by Annie Leibovitz, Michelle wears a magenta silk sheath dress by Jason Wu, who also designed the first lady’s inagural dress.

She looks stunning!
